Michael Sargeant - Reiki and Distance Healer

BIOGRAPHY

HEALING is something I have always done without fully appreciating it. I was aware of colours, heard sounds and could take away headaches. Following a serious road accident I had various alternative treatments including Reiki. In the practice I recognised what I had been doing instinctively myself, and wanted to learn more.

I studied with Bettine Askew for parts one and two in the ‘Usui Shiki Ryhoho’ lineage, and obtained my part three with Susan Douglas. Since then I have applied my training and have had a particular success with distance healing. In the meantime I have studied dowsing and healing practice with Caitlin Walsh and other aspects of Reiki with Susan Douglas. As a musician I am interested in the use of sound for healing and working with performers to improve their abilities. As a musician I have run educational/workshop sessions for students with learning, physical and mental problems. These workshops have reinforced my belief in music as a healing and spiritual discipline. The combination of sound with Reiki has great advantages for individual treatment.
